Plugins and HTML

Plugins are loaded when the browser comes across an <EMBED> ... </EMBED> tag with attributes

• HEIGHT, WIDTH, UNITS
• SRC - the URL of the plugins data file
• MIME - the MIME type of the tag, to choose the plugin
• PLUGINSPAGE - the URL of instructions for installing the plugin
• Other attributes are passed to the plugin
