  9. The file /etc/motd contains the "message of the day" which is shown to each user when they login. Unfortunately this for text based logins, which s usually only for telnet or ssh sessions. There is an X Windows command which will show a message of the day. What is it? Download and install it. What changes to you need to make to a user's configuration so that they see it when they do a GUI login?
